To avoid having records split across two clinics (which do not share an IT system), patients will need to register at either location, but not alternate between both.
Doctor Morgan Sheridan is a Canberra-based GP, he graduated from the Australian National University in 2014, and gained fellowship with the RACGP in 2020. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has done further training in dermatology (particularly skin cancer), and sexual health. He is a LGBT+ friendly GP.
He particularly enjoys doing skin cancer checks - these can be booked by contacting his clinics above.
Checking spots for skin cancer can be done as either a "spot check" or "full skin check".
If you have 1-3 spots to check, please book a standard appointment for a spot check.
If you have more than 3 spots to check, please book a full skin check. This is a 20 min dedicated appointment which involves a scalp-to-soles check. This means other issues cannot be usually be covered in the same appointment, and must be booked as separate appointments. Please do not wear any makeup (especially foundation!), sunscreen or moisturiser for these appointments.
If you need a spot removed, note that procedures can only be booked after an initial appointment with Dr Sheridan, to ensure the procedure is safe for the clinic setting.
Unfortunately, doctors are unable to work while sick, and coughs, colds and sinus infections are potentially transmissible (even if it isn't COVID). For this reason, Dr Sheridan only sees patients wearing masks. If this is an issue, reception will be happy to rebook your appointment as a telehealth, or with another doctor.
Veterans are welcome to see Dr Sheridan, but should note that he is unable to accept Gold or White cards for payment. Veterans must pay all accounts at the time of their appointment, but may send their receipts to DVA for any applicable rebates.
Patients are responsible for workers compensation fees at the time of the appointment. They may send the receipts to their insurers for reimbursement. Note that workers compensation fees are sometimes quite high ($200-500). Other, non-workers compensation-related issues cannot be covered in a worker's compensation appointment, and must be booked as a separate appointment.
Dr Sheridan is unable to communicate with patients by email. No clinical information or requests can be emailed to his clinics except by prior arrangement. Clinic email addresses are only sporadically monitored by reception staff.
In line with professional standards, Dr Sheridan does not communicate with patients via social media. He will respectfully decline any invitations to connect on these platforms.
Dr Sheridan's clinics sometimes use AI note-taking programs to assist in keeping notes. These programs do not store any information online; they generate a text summary of consultations which is only stored in clinics' usual record keeping software.
Please raise any concerns at the start of your appointment and the software can be disabled for your appointment.
